Brief Introduction

Outbreak: Legacy is an Appstore recommended game. It’s an innovative brick-breaker game which has added a slew of new, unique features.

Control a paddle in the marble ring and choose 8 marbles with exciting buffs and debuffs to complete 30 levels! You’ll never want to go back to shooting marbles in the dirt after playing Outbreak: Legacy!

My Role in the Team

Outbreak: Legacy was developed by a team of 7. I’m one of the two core game developers.

As a gameplay and UI programmer, I:

• Worked within Unity(C#) on controls, movement, UI/animations, collisions
• Coded and debugged effectively with other developers using Version Control(GitHub)
• Collaborated with artists and designers to visualize gameplay while matching their requirements

As a game designer, I contributed to the:

• Brainstorming of expansion
• Robot ball setting and collecting system
• Competitive analysis
• Playtesting
• Gameplay & usability evaluation

Background

Outbreak: Legacy is my thesis of my undergraduate at the Communication University of China. It’s also my first time trying making a financial game product.
